Citrus Tree
Citrus tree pattern (March 2020) was the start of my journey with pattern design. Inspired by the nature of Brazil during my trip to the country last year I created a design with a slight arts&craft movement influence with my own vision directing the whole process. I always put a lot of attention to colours and hues in my art, I like to contrast objects which I I often use to define the composition. I used my painting 'The Fence' as I noticed it can be playfully used as a pattern (is there anything that can't be?) and tried to create a whole together with my design.
